My first thing that came to my mind after I started this book was to eat really delicious bowl of Pho. I immediately took up to myself to learn how to cook a vegetarian version of Pho, I didn't expect to find it but there were so many recipes and they looks super yummy!!
While reading A Pho Love Story, I could imagine myself being inside the restaurants and witness this cute little story. I could see Bao's mom and her gossip friends, I could look through their window and see Linh's family restaurant and Linh walking down the street with her art bag. 
Despite being in same school Bao and Linh never talk to each other or should I say they aren't allowed to by their families. Though it may seem like their families don't like each other because of their competitive business but this beef is way too longer. Bao and Linh never actually got to know the real reason nor they dared to ask... But when they started talking and got to know each other (and ofc fell in love) they wondered why their families hated each other so much and what they could do to resolve it!
I cannot say more about this story without spoiling it but I can definitely try to convince you to pick up this sweet rom - com title!
Every time I read a book or even watch something with Asian Rep, I always always can relate to the characters! The family life, importance of culture, love for food!! It never fails to astonish me how many similarities our cultures have!
This book perfectly captures aspects of #AAPI community. The Food!!! Omgggg the food mentioned would definitely activate your taste buds and make you want to dive in some tasty dishes right away! Every time I read name of a dish, I immediately Googled it! Someone feed me some delicious Vietnamese food right away!
Apart from all the mouth watering food, the storyline has lot of things that made me enjoy the read. Linh is an aspiring artist and exceptional with her skills. The way she talked about art and how she draws inspirations for her pieces were so lyrical! I always felt like actually wanting to see the paintings... Bao is kind of guy who's not sure what he wants to do in future like many school teens. He joins school newspaper team and realizes that he loves writing! 
There are so many things that made me fall in love with this story!
I can assure you that you'll get every dose of romance, great food, family drama in this book and you'll love reading this!!
