Personally, I got really really attached with the Squad 312, it's like I could relate to each one and they felt like home. We need each member to complete the Squad. From Tyler our Alpha, Kal, Scar, Cat, Fin, Zila and Auri, the girl out of time... Each one have a story to be told and each one meaningful. This all was beautifully captured by authors while keeping the plot line very gripping and keeping us readers on edge.
The book is thoughtfully plotted and it drives us to keep turning the pages. 
The back-stories of every character though not revealed entirely in Rising, builds up the anticipation to know more about them. 
The best thing about this narrative that every character gets their POV and while reading, it definitely felt like we were reading their thoughts!!! 
The story starts from Aurora Academy which is like United Nations but for Galactic peace. People from all planets here train to become part of Aurora Legion. First POV is of Tyler Jones, an Ace student and he's just about to graduate. But instead of attending his Draft (graduation) he responds to a SOS call. There he finds that all the passengers are dead except one!!! And she's none other than Aurora, around whom the whole story spins!! 
Tyler returns to Aurora Academy and finds that he cannot choose squadmates of his choice because he missed the Draft!! His sister Scarlett aka Scar the smart, funny, witty and multilingual as Face of the squad and his best friend Cat the best pilot in Academy joins his squad. Finian joins in as Gearhead smart, knows his way around all the tech stuff but sarcasm rolls of his tongue 😝 I honestly loved reading his POV chapters!!! Kaliis Idraban Gilwraeth ; Slydrathi species has violet eyes and olive skin. He has long, pointed ears as well as silver hair tied back from his face into five braids spilling down his shoulders. He has sharp cheekbones and a small tattoo of three crossed blades on his brow which states he is from Warbreed cabal. He's hot tempered and combat specialist so pretty obvious he's Tank of the squad. 
Zila is both reserved and highly intelligent. Extremely smart but always lurks behind the Squad keeping mostly to herself. She's the Brain of the squad. 
The story actually starts from their first mission which seems like an ordinary courier job except it isn't... Aurora, the girl out of time sneaks in their ship and series of events leads them towards truth and realization that they would have to save the whole galaxy ✨
I can't wait to read Aurora Burning 🔥 and honestly can't wait to read the third part too even though it's not released yet!!

Book Review ✨  Authors : Margaret Stohl and Melissa de la Cruz  Pages : 365 My Ratings 🌟🌟🌟🌟 ✨  There are times when it's awfully difficult to accept endings we are given by creators of fictions whether it be a movie, poetry or especially a novel. In a movie, we connect to the characters of the plot in span of two or three hours, similarly in a poem we spend shorter amount of time. But it's different in case of a novel, the readers spend relatively invest more time dwelling in the plot, characters and their progress and we make home to the characters in our minds and heart, we feel for them equally as they do. And when readers are not given a satisfactory ending to the fate of their beloved characters especially the protagonist, we live rest of our lives in agony.
